Twice in two years Scandicci found itself at the top of a European final, and both times the winning point landed in the same postcode: a 3-0 sweep of CV Tenerife La Laguna for the CEV Challenge Cup in 2022, then a repeat scoreline against CS Volei Alba Blaj for the CEV Cup the following season.

The team traces back to 2012, when Savino Del Bene, a logistics company that had been putting money into women's volleyball since 2009, took over the sporting title of Unione Pallavolo Scandicci and pushed the project into Serie B1.

Imoco Volley Conegliano has been the wall Scandicci keeps running into: the 2023-2024 Scudetto final went to Conegliano 3-1, and the 2024-2025 Champions League final ended the same way. Domestically, the club is known as Le Biancoblù for its white and blue kit, with the liberos picked out in pink.

Home games were long tied to the Palazzetto dello Sport di Scandicci. Since 2022-2023, the bigger occasions have shifted across to Florence and the 5,000-seat Palazzo Wanny.

Two cups won inside two seasons, against a Scudetto still out of reach.
