About

The Coppa Italia A1 Women stands as the premier domestic cup competition for women's volleyball in Italy. Governed by the FIPAV (Federazione Italiana Pallavolo) and organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile, the tournament operates alongside the top-tier Serie A1 league. It features the top eight teams emerging from the first half of the regular season. The structure begins with quarterfinals played as single matches at the home venue of the higher-ranked team. This stage leads to a "Final Four" weekend held at a neutral venue, where semifinals and the final are decided in single matches.

Imoco Volley Conegliano holds the record for success in the competition. As of the 2025–26 season, the club has won the title eight times. This run includes a record six consecutive titles from 2019–20 to 2024–25. Other notable winners include Foppapedretti Bergamo and Teodora Ravenna, each with six titles. The first edition was won by Nike Ragusa. Since its inception, there have been no cancelled editions. The competition is distinct from the league format, which relies on a round-robin structure with playoffs. Instead, the cup is a knockout event held primarily in January and February.

Imoco Volley Conegliano Women, Vallefoglia Women, Chieri ’76 Volleyball Women, VBC Casalmaggiore Women, Cuneo Women, and Bergamo Women are among the participants in the current season. The Final Four for the 2026 edition is scheduled for Turin. The tournament provides a separate pathway to glory from the league, allowing clubs to secure a major trophy through direct eliminations rather than cumulative points.
