VK Mayawaya beat VK Beskids 3:1 in a club friendly on Friday. The match took place at home for the hosts on September nineteenth. It was their first competitive fixture since the early summer results.
Mayawaya came out strong and kept their side in it from the start. Beskids tried to respond but could not find the rhythm. The visitors lost their man in midfield and the high line was picked apart. To be fair, Mayawaya had the better structure and used it.
The turning point came when the hosts extended their unbeaten run to eight. Beskids had won three of their last five before this one, but the momentum shifted. They reached for their pocket after the break, but the lead was already too big. By then the result was clear.
Mayawaya's recent form showed inconsistency. They lost 0:3 to Komarno and 0:3 to Nitria, but bounced back with two 3:1 victories. Beskids had mixed results too, losing to Penzugar and Mikkevich Kluczbork while beating Dobrichovice twice. This friendly sat somewhere between those patterns.
The final score reflected the balance of the game. Three goals to one, with the hosts controlling the tempo. Beskids will need to work on their defensive shape if they want to close the game out against stronger opposition.
