Abdoulaye Doumbia

Abdoulaye Doumbia came through the MimoSifcom academy at ASEC Mimosas in Abidjan before leaving in November 2025 for BK Häcken, signing a five-year contract that runs to the end of the 2030 season. No transfer fee was disclosed, though his market value was put at around €700,000 to €1 million at the time of the move.

He made his competitive debut for the Swedish club on 22 February 2026, in the group stage of the Swedish Cup against IK Oddevold, and followed it with his Allsvenskan debut on 6 April, starting against IF Brommapojkarna. Two weeks later, on 19 April, he opened the scoring with a volley in a derby against GAIS for his first goal in Häcken colours. By late April he had made six appearances across the league and cup competitions, with the one goal to his name.

At international level, Doumbia has represented Ivory Coast at youth level, having been named in the squad for Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying and featuring for the Under-16 side at the Montaigu Tournament in April 2026.

His performances in Sweden have drawn interest from clubs elsewhere in Europe, with FC Basel, Trabzonspor, Nice and Strasbourg all reported to be weighing up a move for the midfielder.
