About the player
The left-footed defender known as Betão has built a career on clubs signing him for nothing and finding a use for him.
That June he joined Portuguesa for the second half of the season, then returned to Taubaté in January 2022 for two more games.
The step up came at Sampaio Corrêa . In 2024 he played 11 matches in Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, one in the Copa do Nordeste and one in the Copa do Brasil, and won the Campeonato Maranhense with the club.
CSA then loaned him out twice in quick succession: to Athletic Club in September 2025, and to Velo Clube in January 2026, where he made eight appearances in the Campeonato Paulista A1 and provided an assist.
He signed for Náutico in March 2026.
