Cihan Kahraman

Twenty-nine matches, six goals, eight assists: Cihan Kahraman's 2025/26 in Liga Portugal 2 ended with Académico de Viseu promoted to the Primeira Liga, and in July 2026 the club extended his contract by a season, with an option for another.

The route there ran through seven years at 1. FC Union Berlin without a single senior appearance. Kahraman joined the academy in 2012 from Türkiyemspor Berlin, where he had been since 2005, and from 2017 was attached to the first-team squad. The football came on loan instead: 25 matches and six goals at FSV Union Fürstenwalde in 2018/19.

He left Union in 2019 for Berliner AK 07 — 14 matches, three goals — then spent 2020/21 with Hertha BSC II, playing six times.

Samsunspor signed him in August 2021 for €50,000. He played 28 league matches in his first season and 20 in his second, scoring once in each and adding nine assists across the two. The 2022/23 campaign ended with Samsunspor winning the TFF 1. Lig and going up to the Süper Lig.

Académico de Viseu paid €500,000 for him in August 2023. By July 2026 he had made 51 appearances for the Portuguese club and scored seven goals, six of them in the promotion season.

Kahraman holds Turkish and German citizenship and has represented Turkey at youth level: six matches and one goal for the U19s, the goal coming in European Championship qualifying against Latvia, three for the U23s, and one for the U21s at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games. He has not played for the senior national team.
