About the player
Dmitri Emeljanov is a product of the FC Gomel academy, joining its youth ranks and the reserve side, Gomel-2, in 2021. He signed his first professional contract with the club in March 2022 and made his senior debut the following month, on 16 April, against Dnepr Mogilev.
In 2024 he was sent out on loan to Lokomotiv Gomel in the First League, where he spent the season through December and returned with 29 appearances and four goals to his name. The loan spell gave him a regular run of senior football away from Gomel's first team, and he came back to the club in December 2024. Since then he has split his time between the main squad and Gomel-2.
At youth international level, Emeljanov has represented Belarus at Under-18 level, scoring against Armenia's Under-18 side in December 2021, and was called up to the Under-19 setup in March 2022.
He plays as a forward and is right-footed.
