Jaïro Jocquim Riedewald

Riedewald was still 17 when he made his Ajax debut in December 2013, scoring twice and becoming the youngest scoring debutant in both the club's and the Eredivisie's history. That season he won the Eredivisie title, and by 2016–17 he was a Europa League runner-up with the club that raised him from the SV Overbos youth ranks.

In July 2017 Crystal Palace paid around £8 million to take him to south London, and he stayed for seven years. Across 96 appearances in all competitions he scored three goals and added six assists, the bulk of it in 80 Premier League outings. He was named Crystal Palace's Player of the Month twice, in January and October 2020.

His international career was brief: three caps for the Netherlands, all earned between September and October 2015, starting with a Euro 2016 qualifier against Turkey.

Riedewald left Palace in 2024 for Royal Antwerp on a free transfer, then moved on again in October 2025, signing for Sheffield United. The deal was initially a short-term contract running to January 2026, since extended to the end of June that year.
