Jean Carlos

Jean Carlos began working his way through Brazilian football's biggest academies before he had turned seventeen. He joined Palmeiras' youth ranks in 2021, finishing among the leading scorers of the club's Sub-17 side with six goals in 26 matches in the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-17, before moving on to Flamengo's Sub-20 setup later that year.

The switch to Atlético Goianiense in 2022 gave him his first taste of senior football. He worked through the Sub-17 and Sub-20 categories before making his first-team debut in the Campeonato Goiano in February 2022. Over the following two years he made three appearances for Atlético Goianiense's senior side in Brazil's top flight.

Jean Carlos moved to Goiás in November 2024, initially returning to youth football with the Sub-20 squad. The turning point came in April 2025, when he scored three goals in a single match against Atlético Goianiense's Sub-20 side. That performance helped push him into the professional squad later that year, and he began featuring in Série B.

His progress continued into 2026, when he was part of the Goiás squad that won the Campeonato Goiano. He finished the tournament with three goals to his name and was involved in the build-up to Anselmo Ramon's goal in the final.
