About the player
Feddersen's first appearance in senior European football came away from home: on 23 July 2026 he lined up for Austria Wien in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League against FK Liepāja, a tie the Viennese side won 2–0.
The route there ran through Germany. He started out at Eintracht Oberursel, spent a season at 1. JFC AEB Hildesheim and then five years at Hannover 96, before joining Borussia Dortmund's academy in 2021. Dortmund is where the defender collected his medals: the Under-17 Bundesliga West title in 2023/24, and the Premier League International Cup with the U19 side in 2025/26.
Senior football arrived in August 2025, when he started for Borussia Dortmund II in the Regionalliga West and drew 2–2 with Wuppertaler SV. He stayed in the side, making 18 league appearances across the season.
Austria Wien announced the signing on 10 June 2026. Feddersen arrived on a free transfer, with a contract running until 2029, and took the number 4 shirt. At international level he has two caps for Germany at Under-16, both won in March 2023.
