Kristian Bilovar

Kristian Bilovar was born in Debrecen and came through Dynamo Kyiv's academy after starting out at SDYuSShOR Uzhhorod. He signed his first professional contract with the Kyiv club in 2021, then spent three seasons out on loan: a spell at Desna Chernihiv, a run at Chornomorets Odesa, and a stint in Cyprus with AEL Limassol. All three moves were loans, with Dynamo keeping him tied to a contract that now runs to 2028.

Back in Kyiv, the defender has become a regular fixture in defence, making 42 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League along with six in the domestic cup and twenty across Europe, split between the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. That run of European football has come alongside silverware: Bilovar was part of the squad that won the Ukrainian Premier League title and lifted the Ukrainian Cup with Dynamo.

His international career has so far stayed at youth level. Bilovar represented Ukraine at Under-17, where he scored once in five caps, before moving up to the Under-18s and then the Under-19s, with whom he won back-to-back Ukrainian Under-19 League titles. He has also been called into the Under-21 squad, though without adding a debut there. At club level, the loan years abroad and at home look to have served their purpose, feeding into a defender who is now a fixture in Dynamo's back line rather than a fringe squad member.
