That background traces back to a college career with the Yale Bulldogs, where he made 28 appearances and scored 13 goals, earned a place on the All-Ivy Second Team in 2021 and picked up four Ivy League Rookie of the Week awards.
His scoring instincts showed most clearly on loan at Chicago FC United in 2022, where he managed nine goals in twelve USL League Two appearances while still a Yale student. in Belgium, where he scored five league goals in 27 appearances in his first season.
