Cracovia Krakow

The Polish Cup final of 2020 went to extra time before Cracovia put a third past Lechia Gdańsk and won 3:2. Two months on they beat Legia Warszawa on penalties, 5:4, for the Super Cup. Seven major honours in the football section's history, and two of them arrived in the same year.

The five league championships came earlier and further apart: 1921, then 1930, 1932, 1937, and the one in 1948, after the war.

The club had begun as an academic side — Akademicki Klub Footballowy, Cracovia — founded on 13 June 1906 in Kraków, which makes it the oldest football club still playing in Poland. The legal shell has changed more than the shirt has. It registered as Klub Sportowy Cracovia in 1991, became a joint-stock company in 2004–2005, and in September 2022 was reconstituted as a municipal club, MKS Cracovia SSA.

Those white and red stripes gave the supporters their name for the side: Pasy — the Stripes. Home is the Józef Piłsudski Stadium, usually called simply the Cracovia stadium, holding 15,114.
