About the player
A cup final at the end of the road home: in the 2024–25 season, Ljuban Crepulja reached the Croatian Cup final with NK Slaven Belupo.
The route out began with a title. At NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac he helped the side win the 2. HNL in 2012–13, and in January 2016 KV Mechelen paid €350,000 to take him to the Belgian Pro League. That spell included a season on loan at Shakhtyor Soligorsk in Belarus in 2017, where the team reached the Belarusian Cup final.
In 2018–19 the club won both the Bosnian Premier League and the Bosnian Cup — the double.
He arrived at FC Astra Giurgiu on a free transfer in 2019 and reached the Cupa României final with them in 2021, then moved on to FC Rapid București and FC Voluntari, each time without a fee.
Before all of it there was Segesta, where he came through the youth ranks from 2003 and made his senior debut, followed by youth spells at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and GNK Dinamo Zagreb. Croatia called him up twice at under-20 level in December 2012. Those two caps remain his only international appearances.
