M. Jensen

Markus Gustav Jensen came through the academy at Odense Boldklub, joining the club's system in 2021.

In August 2025, Odense sent him on loan to Jong Utrecht in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. He made 30 appearances across the season, with two goals and three assists, playing regularly in a division built around developing young talent for the Dutch top flight.

The loan spell set up a permanent switch. In July 2026, Jensen left Odense on a free transfer to sign for Portuguese side Nacional, agreeing a four-year contract. His start there has been slow, with two league appearances so far and no goals or assists recorded.

Jensen has represented Denmark at youth level, featuring for the under-17s at the 2022 European Championship and scoring in that age group before stepping up through the under-18s and under-19s. He has not yet been called up to the senior national team.

Comfortable on either foot and capable of playing across the attacking positions, Jensen's career so far has followed a path familiar to many Danish exports: academy football at home, a loan abroad to sharpen his game, then a permanent move into a new league to test himself against senior professionals.
