About the player
Loaned out by Viktoria Plzeň after coming through the youth ranks at FK Příbram and later the Plzeň academy, the midfielder spent the 2019/20 season at Pardubice, scoring 15 goals in 39 league appearances. That form earned him the title of Best Player of the Czech National Football League for the season, and Pardubice went up as champions, returning to the Czech First League after 51 years.
A further loan followed at Mladá Boleslav before Plzeň sent him back to Pardubice, this time on a permanent free transfer in 2022, where he went on to make 68 appearances. In July 2024, Slovan Liberec paid €800,000 for him and signed him to a contract until 2028; over his time there he made 45 appearances and scored six goals.
On 24 December 2025, Hlavatý returned to Pardubice once more, signing a four-and-a-half-year contract on a free transfer. Some reports linked the move to a swap arrangement involving Vojtěch Sychra moving the other way to Liberec. He is a Czech international and now wears number 19 for the club.
