Nil Coch Montaña

Nil Coch Montaña spent years working through Spain's lower divisions before finding a settled role abroad. Born in Tarragona, he came through the Gimnàstic de Tarragona academy but never made the step up to the first team, leaving in 2017 for CF Pobla de Mafumet. Loans took him to Betis Deportivo Balompié, where he made nine Segunda División B appearances, and later to CD Badajoz and FC Vilafranca, before he returned to Pobla de Mafumet in 2019.

The following seasons carried him through a string of Spanish clubs — CD Vitoria, FC Ascó, SD Oyonesa and Palencia Cristo Atlético, the last of these joined as a free agent.

In July 2025, Coch left Spain altogether, signing for the Ukrainian club Epitsentr Dunayivtsi on a free transfer until June 2026. He made his competitive debut that season and quickly established himself as a regular starter, featuring in most of the team's home matches. His impact went beyond simply holding down a defensive slot: on 3 October 2025 he scored his first goal for the club against Zorya Luhansk, in a match Epitsentr lost 2-1. Across the season he made 27 appearances, adding one assist to his goal contribution.
