About the player
Olivier Dumont came through Standard de Liège's academy after starting out at RCS Visé, and made his professional bow for the Liège club in a Belgian First Division A fixture against KRC Genk in July 2021. First-team chances were scarce there, restricted to two appearances that season, and in 2022 he moved on a free transfer to Sint-Truiden. It was at STVV that Dumont found his footing as a regular, making 46 appearances across three seasons and scoring his first senior goal in a match against KV Ostende in April 2023.
A further free transfer took him to RWDM Brussels in July 2025 on a contract running to 2027, and he repaid the move with his most productive campaign yet: 29 Challenger Pro League outings plus two in the Belgian Cup, a goal and three assists in the league, and over 1,700 minutes on the pitch. That form led to his switch to MVV Maastricht, where he has scored twice in his opening four appearances for the club.
Dumont's international experience dates back to Belgium's youth ranks, where he earned four caps and scored twice for the under-17s.
