About the player
Ruslan Ayukin has never needed a second club to make his name — he made it at the only one he has ever played for. Born in Naberezhnye Chelny, he came up through the KAMAZ academy, trained there until 2012, and made his senior debut for the club that same year. He then spent time in the reserve side, and by 2017 his path had led him away from the squad on a free transfer. It did not last: he returned to the main team a year later, again on a free, and picked up where he had left off.
In December 2018 he was made captain, and he has worn the armband ever since, through to the 2025/2026 season.
