About the player
Ross Graham joined the Dundee United academy in 2012, having started out at Blairgowrie & Rattray Community and Dundee West, and signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2018. Rather than pushing straight into the first team, he was sent out on three loan spells to gain experience: at Elgin City, at Cove Rangers, and later at Dunfermline Athletic, before establishing himself back at Tannadice. Dundee United rewarded him with contract extensions in 2019 and 2021, and later tied him down into the 2026/27 season.
His career so far saw a significant milestone in July 2025, when Dundee United made him captain — the first academy graduate to wear the armband at the club in the 21st century.
Graham has also pushed his case at international level. He made his Scotland Under-21 debut in March 2022 against Kazakhstan, scoring the opening goal in a match that finished 2-2. Further call-ups followed that June for fixtures against Belgium and Denmark. A step up to the senior side has not yet followed, though manager Jim Goodwin spoke of hoping to see him included.
