Zachary Albert Sapsford

Zac Sapsford grew up playing in the Sydney football scene, starting his senior career at Hakoah Sydney City East in 2021, where he scored seven goals in fifteen National Premier Leagues appearances. That form carried him into Sydney FC's set-up the following January before Western Sydney Wanderers signed him that July, and it was there that he established himself as an A-League forward, scoring his first senior goal against Sydney FC in November 2023.

Sapsford's best season came in 2024–25, when he scored nine goals for the Wanderers, building on the three he managed the year before. Across three seasons at the club he made 48 A-League Men appearances and scored 12 goals in total, output that persuaded Dundee United to sign him. In June 2025, the Scottish Premiership club announced a three-year contract, with the move taking effect that July and Sapsford wearing the number 9 shirt.

He has represented Australia at youth level, earning a single cap for the under-17s in 2019, though a senior Socceroos call-up has not followed. At club level, he has yet to add a trophy or individual award to his record.
