Ryan Kessler

Kessler moved to FC Sion in February 2026, signing a contract that runs until 2029, with the fee kept confidential by mutual agreement between the two clubs. The switch came after he had made 58 appearances for FC Aarau, having come through the youth ranks there and at FC Frick before joining Aarau's first team in August 2023. He made his professional debut for Aarau three months later, in November 2023, and signed his first professional contract with the club the following May.

Kessler has also built a record at youth international level with Switzerland, collecting caps for the U18, U19 and U20 sides, and, most recently, an appearance for the U21s in November 2025. He is yet to score at any of those age groups.

At Sion, he arrives without a senior title or individual award to his name, the move instead resting on the appearances and progress logged during his time in Aarau.
