Stefan Hagerup

Stefan Hagerup did not start out as a goalkeeper at all. He began his youth career at Løv-Ham as an outfield player and only switched to goalkeeper at 13 or 14. When Løv-Ham merged with Fyllingen in 2012 to form FK Fyllingsdalen, he stayed on in the club's youth setup and made his senior debut there in 2013, going on to make 31 league appearances over two seasons.

In May 2015 he joined Sogndal Fotball on an emergency basis to cover for injured goalkeepers, made 12 appearances and helped the team win the 1. divisjon and gain promotion to the Eliteserien. A loan to Ull/Kisa in July 2016 turned permanent that January, and it was there that Hagerup became a genuinely unusual figure in Norwegian football. Between the start of the 2017 season and the end of 2023, he played every single minute of every league match from the start, amassing 202 league appearances for the club and becoming known for his durability.

What set him apart even more was his scoring record. Hagerup scored 5 league goals during his time at Ull/Kisa, almost all from free kicks, with his technique compared to that of Didier Drogba and David Luiz. His first official goal came in October 2019 against Skeid, he added another in 2020, and scored twice in 2022, against Asker and Brattvåg.

In March 2024, after his contract with Ull/Kisa expired, Hagerup signed for Lillestrøm SK on a free transfer.
