Tobias Sommer Sørensen

Tobias Sommer Sørensen made his senior debut for Vejle Boldklub in 2020 after coming through the club's youth ranks. He made three appearances for Vejle before loan spells took him to Iceland, where he played five matches and scored once for ÍF Grótta, and then to Kolding IF, where 27 appearances and two goals convinced the club to sign him permanently in the summer of 2022.

The move to Kolding proved decisive. Sørensen helped the side win the 2. Division title in the 2022–23 season, a promotion that put him back on the radar of his former club. In August 2023, Sønderjyske brought him back for an undisclosed fee, and the defensive midfielder went on to become a regular fixture, making 79 appearances and contributing three goals and 12 assists. That spell included the 1. Division title in 2023–24.

Internationally, Sørensen represented Denmark at youth level, collecting three caps for the under-18s in 2019 and five for the under-19s across 2019 and 2020, eight caps in total.

In July 2026, PEC Zwolle in the Dutch Eredivisie signed him for a reported fee of €1.5 million, with Sørensen putting pen to paper on a contract running until the middle of 2029.
