About the player
Thiago Borges came through Brazilian academy football before making the move to European club football relatively young. He joined Athletico Paranaense's youth setup in 2021, playing for the club's U17 side, before a brief spell at Brasilis-SP and then a longer stay at América-MG, where he spent time in the U20 and U17 ranks and also made appearances for the senior team.
In July 2025 Borges signed for FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih in the Ukrainian Premier League as a free agent, putting pen to paper on a contract running until June 2029.
