Vojtěch Patrák

Vojtěch Patrák grew up in the Vrchlabí and Trutnov area. Sparta Prague then picked him up for its academy, scoring ten goals in 31 appearances between 2019 and 2022. His breakthrough into Sparta's first team came on 28 June 2020 against Viktoria Plzeň, and he went on to add appearances in the Europa League and Champions League qualifiers, though senior opportunities at the club remained limited to four matches in total. He was part of the squad that won the Czech Cup with Sparta in the 2019/2020 season.

Loan spells shaped much of his development. At Vysočina Jihlava in 2021 he scored three goals in 13 games, then spent the 2021/2022 season on loan back at Pardubice, contributing a goal in 12 league appearances. A further loan took him to Jablonec for 2022/2023, where he made 18 league appearances and two Czech Cup outings without finding the net.

In 2023 Patrák returned to Pardubice permanently, signing a four-year contract and taking the number 10 shirt. At youth international level, he made one appearance for the Czech Republic U21 side, coming on as a substitute in the 83rd minute against Albania U21 in a UEFA U21 Championship qualifier on 6 September 2021. He has represented the Czech Republic at U18 level as well, though the senior national team has not yet called on him.
