Vladyslav Sharay

Vladyslav Sharay's name entered the record books during the 2019–20 Ukrainian Cup, when he finished as the competition's top scorer with four goals while playing for Alians Lypova Dolyna — a club in the Ukrainian First League at the time. It was only the ninth occasion in the tournament's history that a player from a lower division had topped the scoring charts.

Sharay came up through the youth ranks at Knyazha Schaslyve before joining Olimpik Donetsk's senior squad in 2015, though he never made an official league appearance for the first team and was farmed out on loan instead — first to Avanhard Kramatorsk, where he scored three goals in 30 appearances, then to Sumy. His move to Alians in 2019, and across two spells at the club either side of a stint at Inhulets Petrove he built up a return in the region of 16 to 21 goals from roughly 45 to 54 games.

His second spell at Alians was cut short after the season ended early, and he signed for Veres Rivne in July 2022. Sharay has not been capped by Ukraine at senior level.
