About the player
Egor Troyakov came through Gomel's own academy before making his senior debut for the club in August 2015. He stayed for five years, and in 2016 was part of the squad that won the Belarusian First League.
His run at the club was interrupted by two loan spells in 2019: first to Sputnik Rechitsa, a move ended by mutual consent after eleven appearances, then to Smorgon, where he added a goal in ten matches. Back at Gomel for 2020, and when his contract expired in January 2021 he left as a free agent.
In January 2023, Troyakov returned to Gomel, the club where he began, signing a two-year deal that has since been extended to run until the end of 2026. He has made over fifty appearances in this second spell and has also turned out for the reserve side, Gomel-2.
