AFC Sudbury

Reggie Lambe had already worn Bermuda's colours before he arrived at King's Marsh Stadium in 2023 from Stowmarket Town. AFC Sudbury came together on 1 June 1999, when Sudbury Town, dating back to 1885, merged with Sudbury Wanderers, formed in 1958, and the new club kept an old debt: the nickname "The Biscuitmen", handed down from Sudbury Town's ties to the town's Jacob's biscuit factory, alongside the newer "Yellows" drawn from the yellow and blue kit.

The club built its reputation fast. Between 2001 and 2005 it took the Eastern Counties League Premier Division five years running, a run of successive appearances that stands as a record. Promotion in 2016 lifted the club into the Isthmian League Premier Division, only for relegation to follow a year later. The 2022–23 campaign brought it back up through the play-offs, beating Grays Athletic and Heybridge Swifts on the way to the Southern League Premier Division Central, but the club could not hold that level: eighteenth, then seventeenth, then bottom in 2025–26 sent it back down to the Isthmian League North Division.
