Radoviš folk still talk about the summer of 2022, when three local sides stopped competing against each other. Plačkovica, the town's old football name, joined forces with Detonit Junior and the youth outfit Azzurri, and Detonit Junior simply ceased to exist the moment the papers were signed. What came out of the merger, FK Detonit Plachkovica, kept the older club's records.

The third tier is where the club's name still carries weight. Plačkovica won the East Division of the Third League in the 1993/94 season, and followed it with two third-place finishes in the Second League East in 1995–96 and 1997–98. The most recent mark came far more recently, in 2023–24, when Detonit Plachkovica took third place in the Second League's United Division.
