Chinland FC shares that ground with Chin United rather than fighting anyone for it — no derby has attached itself to the club. What the club has instead is a rebrand that tells you more than a rivalry would: founded in Yangon in 2013 as Gospel for Asia FC, tied to the ministry of the same name, it took the name Chinland FC in 2019 to say plainly what it had been representing all along, Chin State, while ownership stayed with founder Dr CK No Chhum throughout.

The club has never sat in the top flight. Home games are played at Bogyoke Aung San Stadium in Yangon, 40,000 seats, red shirts with yellow and black for the home kit. The nickname, The Outchin, has stuck through the name change.

The one player worth naming from the club's history is Emmanuel Ikechukwu Uzochukwu, a Nigerian striker who spent 2016 and 2017 there before Yangon United and then Shan United picked him up.

Without a rival to define itself against, Chinland FC is left to be defined by the region it plays for: it is Chin State's club by name since 2019, and Chin United's ground-mate rather than its enemy.
