Dragan Džajić took his first touches on the pitch in Ub before Red Star and the Yugoslav national team ever knew his name, and the ground the club plays on today carries his name for that reason. Nemanja Matić, another product of the same academy, later paid for the stadium's renovation in 2017, and two of its stands were named for Dušan Savić and Radosav Petrović.

The senior club spent most of its history in Serbia's lower tiers, winning the Serbian League Danube twice, in 1999–2000 and 2002–03. A partnership with Red Star Belgrade in the late 1990s kept talent flowing through the academy long after Džajić's departure. The breakthrough for the first team came in 2023–24, when Jedinstvo finished as runners-up in the Serbian First League and won promotion to the SuperLiga for the first time in the club's history.

That stay lasted one season. Jedinstvo finished 16th and bottom of the 2024–25 SuperLiga table and returned immediately to the First League. The academy has kept drawing interest regardless: loan players from Lyon and Partizan have joined the youth setup in Ub in recent seasons.

Stadion Dragan Džajić holds 4,000 people.
