Ofk Beograd U19

Karaburma's Omladinski Stadium seats just over 19,000.

That history runs deep. What plays today as OFK Beograd began in 1911 as Beogradski sport klub, was dissolved after the Second World War, and only became OFK Beograd in 1957. Five Yugoslav First League titles between 1931 and 1938–39 and five Yugoslav Cups followed, won long before anyone wore the current badge. The nickname that survived all of it, Romantičari — the Romantics — sits oddly next to a youth side whose job is producing hard-nosed professionals, not sentiment.

And produce them it has. The academy's roll call includes Branislav Ivanović and Aleksandar Kolarov, both of whom left Karaburma for far larger stages than the one they trained on, alongside older names like Josip Skoblar and Ilija Petković. Against FK Rad, the Mali Beogradski derbi gives the U19s a fixture that matters locally even when the senior rivalry dominates the headlines.

What the academy has not delivered is silverware of its own. Since the Serbian Youth League was established in the 2013/14 season, the OFK Beograd U19 side has not won it, leaving a club that built its reputation on the players it exports still short of a title with its own name on it.
