TJ Tesla Pardubice carries that section forward, and by its own account it ranks among the largest sports clubs in the city.
The section goes back to 1926, when Sokol Pardubice first put out men's volleyball teams. It has stayed under different names since: registered as USK Pardubice in 1992, and known today under the Tesla banner. No Extraliga title or Czech Cup has come its way; those sit with clubs such as Dukla Liberec, Lvi Praha or ČEZ Karlovarsko, while Pardubice's rivalries run closer to home, against sides from Hradec Králové.
Home games are played at the hall of the Střední odborné učiliště plynárenské or at Sportovní hala Dašická.
