Partizán Bardejov

Bardejov sit in the 2. Liga. Between 1922, when it was founded as BSC Bardejov, and the present BŠK designation, it has been reorganised under eight different titles, from Sokol OSK Bardejov through the long TJ Partizán years to NFL Partizán Bardejov.

The men's side has one major honour on record, the 1993–94 Second Division title, and Jozef Urblík topped the Slovak Superliga scoring charts the following season while on Bardejov's books. Two Czechoslovak internationals give the club its deepest historical claim: Jozef Bomba played at the 1962 World Cup, Anton Flešár at the 1970 tournament.

It is the women's team, Partizánky, that has done the winning in the modern era. They took the Slovak Women's First League in 2016–17 and added the Slovenský pohár žien three times, in 2015–16, 2016–17 and 2018–19.

Since 2017 the club has played at the Mestský štadión Bardejov with its athletics track gone, the ground converted to an all-seater bowl holding 3,435.

Derby day means Tatran Prešov, the Eastern Slovak Derby. A second, sharper-edged meeting comes against Slavoj Trebišov, the District Derby.
