They have reached the Slovenian Women's Cup final three times without lifting it — beaten by Pomurje Beltinci in 2015–16, by Olimpija Ljubljana in 2017–18, and by Mura Nona 0–2 in the 2025–26 final.
ŽNK Radomlje grew out of a girls' training programme the men's club NK Radomlje started in the 2011/2012 season, becoming its own entity the following year. The two clubs remain tied together, sharing Športni park Radomlje.
What the club is best known for is what it sends elsewhere. Its youth academy has fed players straight into the Slovenian national team and on to clubs abroad — Sara Agrež went on to Liverpool and Wolfsburg, Lana Golob to Porto, Zala Kuštrin to Sturm Graz, Lara Ivanuša to Glasgow City.
The first-team side, nicknamed Rumenosrčne (Yellow-Hearted) for their yellow and red colours, debuted in the UEFA Women's Europa League qualifiers in 2025–26, where they were drawn against Vålerenga.
What still eludes them is the league title itself — and a first Slovenian Women's Cup, after three finals without one.
