Work on the ground at Praça Concórdia began in 1916, and it holds 7,400.
The run began with promotion won in 2007, in Série A2. Resende reached the final of the Taça Guanabara and lost it 3–0 to Botafogo at the Maracanã.
Two Copa Rio titles followed, in 2014 and 2015 — the first taken on penalties against Madureira, the second against Portuguesa Carioca. The Taça Rio came in 2022, again from the spot, against Nova Iguaçu.
Then the fall. In 2023 Resende went down for the first time, finishing bottom with 5 points, and the fifteen years ended in a single season. The way back has not opened: in 2026 the club reached the Série A2 final and lost to Americano on penalties.
The derby with Volta Redonda, the Clássico do Sul Fluminense, still fills the ground.
