Siran Akademi

Şiran Kapalı Spor Salonu sits in a district hall in Gümüşhane province, no capacity ever put to it.

Ersin Şahin founded the club on 13 December 2017 and remains its president. Colours are yellow and black, registered as such with the Turkish Volleyball Federation.

The one campaign worth setting down is 2019/20. Under coach Ümit Terzi, Şiran Akademi went through the 2. Lig final group in Eskişehir without losing, took nine points from three matches and beat Konya Büyükşehir Belediyesi 3-1 in the final — promotion to the 1. Lig, now the Efeler Ligi. Tugay Doğan, a Turkish international born in 1984, played that campaign as player-coach.

Lig play-offs, reaching the semi-finals in Çorum before going out short of the championship stage. The roster since has turned over with imports rather than academy graduates — Tomas Halanda arrived from Slovakia for 2024/25, Denis Fazulov came from Russia in 2020/21 and returned in December 2025 — while the hall in Şiran stays the one constant.
