Villarreal U19

The names on Villarreal's Under-19 sheets read differently once you know where they ended up. That production line is what the Juvenil A side is for, and in the 2021–22 season it briefly had to justify itself on its own terms.

The team plays at the Mini Estadi inside the Ciudad Deportiva, holding 3,637. There is no away-day mythology attached to it; it exists to produce players who will later fill grounds elsewhere, which is precisely what happened with the group that won the Copa de Campeones División de Honor Juvenil in 2015.

Domestically the side has been the strongest in its section of the División de Honor Juvenil more often than not lately, taking Group VII in 2018–19, 2019–20 and again in 2024–25. Above them, the senior club's Europa League win in 2020–21 gave every academy graduate a concrete target rather than an abstract one.
