Yokohama FC

Yokohama FC go into their current campaign in the J1 League. Three times since 2019 — in 2019, 2022 and 2024 — they have finished second in J2 and gone up automatically.

When Yokohama Flügels were folded into Yokohama Marinos in 1998, supporters who refused to accept it set up their own side on 25 December 1998 under the name Yokohama Fulie Sports Club — the source of the nickname Fulie that the club still carries.

They started at the bottom and climbed quickly, winning the Japan Football League in 1999 and again in 2000, which earned entry to J.League Division 2 for the 2001 season.

Home is the NHK Spring Mitsuzawa Football Stadium in Kanagawa-ku with a capacity of 15,454, of which 15,046 are seated. The cyan of the home shirt was taken from NKK SC, the corporate club shut down in 1994; navy shorts and socks complete it, with an all-white change kit.

Nothing has come in the cups. Yokohama FC have never won the Emperor's Cup or the J.League Cup, and their record in the former is a run of third-round appearances — 2006, 2016, 2017, and every year from 2022 to 2025 — without going further.
