Stadium
Behrn Arena
Örebro, Sweden
Formerly: Eyravallen (football stadium), Vinterstadion, Toyotahallen, Obol Arena (ice arena)
Örebro carries two arenas under the same name. Behrn Arena is the football ground, sitting on Rudbecksgatan; a separate ice rink built later shares the branding, and locals still sort out which one is meant by whether the conversation is about football or hockey.
The pitch itself opened in 1923 as Eyravallen, and it kept that name for the better part of a century before Behrn Fastigheter bought the naming rights in early 2005 for eleven million kronor. The rebrand replaced a name tied to the district it stood in with a corporate one.
Örebro SK play their home matches here, on artificial turf laid down by GreenFields in 2012.
