To be fair, the away side made the most of what they had—four shots on target, two goals. Fredrikstad ran out of legs after the break and threw bodies forward, but the visitors' defence held firm.

Sarpsborg, with 41 per cent and 76 attacks, hit 67 per cent accuracy on their shots. Big chances created sat at zero for both sides.
Two yellow cards ended the evening, Max Nilsson in the eighty-seventh and Simen Rafn in the eighty-ninth. Fredrikstad remain seventh with 27 points after twenty games, while Sarpsborg sit ninth on 25. The gap between them is now just two points, and neither side looks comfortable.
