Match report
Olancho and Olimpia shared the points in their National League Apertura clash on Saturday evening, a 1:1 result that left Olimpia still top of the table. The match finished with a flurry of activity in stoppage time, both teams finding the net within three minutes of each other.
By then, the game had settled into a rhythm neither side could quite break. Olimpia struck first in the 96th minute through J. Bengtson, but K. Pena responded almost immediately for Olancho. Three yellow cards followed in quick succession, and the referee seemed to be working through a backlog.
