Derrick Henry: Winning It All With Lamar Jackson
Ravens running back Derrick Henry says a Super Bowl title with Lamar Jackson is his top priority after two seasons without deep playoff success.
Derrick Henry said winning the Super Bowl remains the target that drives him, and that he wants it above all with Lamar Jackson at quarterback.
"It would be crazy to finish a career having played with Lamar Jackson and not won a championship. I can't let that happen. We have to do it," Henry said.
Henry has played two seasons with the Ravens. The team reached the play-offs once and won a single game there. In the 2024 season Baltimore lost to Buffalo in the divisional round; a year later the Ravens missed the play-offs entirely. The club fired John Harbaugh afterward and named Jesse Minter head coach.
"I want to win the Super Bowl. That's huge motivation. I just want to feel what it's like. I'm tired of watching from the sidelines. Every year I sit at home on the couch and watch the Super Bowl — I'm sick of it. I want to be part of it myself. That's what motivates me right now. I'll keep working until we get there," Henry said.
