Case Keenum leads Bears past Eagles in comeback win
In his first NFL game since 2023, backup quarterback Case Keenum threw two touchdowns and ran for another as Chicago beat Philadelphia 27-7.
Case Keenum passed for two touchdowns and ran in a third as the Chicago Bears beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-7 on Monday night, in his first NFL action since a loss with Houston in December 2023.
Stepping in for Caleb Williams, ruled out with a right hamstring injury, the 38-year-old completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards. He capped Chicago's opening drive with an eight-yard shovel pass to Luther Burden, then found a wide-open Kalif Raymond for a 41-yard score. With 7:19 left on the clock he added a one-yard rushing touchdown, his first since 2019, at the end of a 13-play drive that ran more than eight minutes off the clock.
Keenum had started the season as Chicago's third-string quarterback.

Raymond finished with six catches for 90 yards to go with his touchdown, and the win let the Bears (2-1) put right an ugly 9-3 loss to Minnesota in Week 2. Philadelphia (2-1) turned the ball over three times and, for the third straight game to start the season, failed to force one of their own. Jalen Hurts went 16 of 25 for 153 yards with an interception, and Saquon Barkley carried 15 times for 82 yards.
