Jessy Deminguet

Jessy Deminguet's route to Ligue 1 ran through the lower leagues of Normandy, starting at US Lexovienne and CA Lisieux before he joined the Caen academy. He spent years working through the club's youth ranks and reserve side before breaking into the first team, and in November 2019 he was named UNFP Ligue 2 Player of the Month while still at Caen. An 89th-minute equaliser against Auxerre in April 2022 stands as one of the clearer moments of that spell with the club.

Deminguet left Caen for RC Strasbourg Alsace on a free transfer in the summer of 2023. His time there led to a loan move to FC Metz for the 2024–25 season, where he made 30 Ligue 2 appearances, scoring once and setting up two goals, and also featured three times in Ligue 1 and once in the Coupe de France as Metz secured promotion. That loan was converted into a permanent transfer in the summer of 2025, with Deminguet signing a contract running to 2028.

He has since established himself in Metz's Ligue 1 side, making 31 league appearances in the 2025–26 season and scoring twice, including a goal against Paris Saint-Germain. A 3-2 defeat to PSG in December 2025 left him visibly frustrated afterwards. He has picked up minor injuries along the way, including a heel problem in April 2025 and an ankle injury in May 2026.

At international level, Deminguet has not been capped by the senior France side but represented the France U20 team at the 2018 Toulon Tournament, making three appearances.
