About the player
That Anderlecht spell also produced his first senior goal, in a 4–0 win over Westerlo on Boxing Day 2014.
It was at Birmingham City, where he moved in August 2017, that Colin became a genuine fixture: 241 league appearances and seven goals across six seasons, starting with a goal on his home debut against Preston North End.
His path into professional football began at US Boulogne, where he made his debut in 2010 and racked up 49 league appearances before two seasons at Troyes. At youth level, Colin was part of the France side that won the 2010 European Under-19 Championship and later played at the 2011 Under-20 World Cup in Colombia, where France finished fourth. He has not been capped at senior international level.
In July 2023, with his Birmingham contract expired, Colin signed a two-year deal with Metz on a free transfer.
