About the player
Luka Reischl started out at UFC Altenmarkt, UFC Radstadt and SK Bischofshofen, joining the Salzburg system in the summer of 2015. He made his professional debut for the affiliate club FC Liefering in the Austrian 2. Liga on 25 September 2020, and by the time he left in 2025 he had made 103 league appearances and scored 20 goals for the club, becoming its record appearance holder among Salzburg's youth prospects. The Guardian named him in its "Next Generation" list of 60 best young talents in 2021.
In January 2025, Reischl moved to ADO Den Haag on loan with an option to buy. He scored 5 goals in 8 league appearances during that loan spell, and in April 2025 ADO activated the option, signing him permanently until 2028. Sturm Graz reportedly offered €2 million for him in January 2026, which ADO turned down. He was part of the ADO Den Haag squad that won the Eerste Divisie in the 2025–26 season and secured promotion to the Eredivisie, and by August 2026 he had scored 10 goals in 35 league games for the club.
At youth international level, Reischl has represented Austria from U15 through U21, scoring the winning goal against Slovenia at U17 level in October 2020. He has not yet been capped by the senior Austrian national team.
