About the player
Moha Ramos spent years in goal at Real Madrid. He came through the club's youth ranks, playing for the under-19 side in the UEFA Youth League across two seasons, and made a single Segunda División B appearance for Castilla in 2018/19.
When Real Madrid did not extend his contract, he left as a free agent in July 2021 and moved through Spanish football's lower tiers: Rayo Cantabria, then Real Avilés, then Las Palmas Atlético, all on free transfers within the space of about a year. A move to CD Tenerife in July 2023 kept him close to his native Santa Cruz de Tenerife, though he was confined to the reserve side without ever debuting for the first team. He continued at that level with CD Marino.
His move to USL Dunkerque, on a three-year contract, took him out of Spain for the first time as a professional and into Ligue 2. It arrives after a career built almost entirely on free transfers between clubs in Spain's lower divisions, without a senior cap for Spain or a major trophy at club level to show for it — a goalkeeper still searching, at Dunkerque, for the sustained first-team run that eluded him at home.
