Toftir is a village on Eysturoy. The pattern is legible in the honours list: promotion from 1. deild in 1980, then again in 2005, 2007 and 2013.
The years that made the name came early. B68 were champions of the Faroe Islands in 1984 and retained the title in 1985, and won a third in 1992.
The ground arrived just before the good years. Svangaskarð opened in 1980, the same season B68 came up from the second tier, and it has been the club's home ever since. Its 6,000 capacity is a large number for a village of Toftir's size.
The club was founded on 21 December 1962. Red shirts, black shorts, red socks — the colours have not moved.
What is missing is the cup. B68 have never won the Faroe Islands Cup.
